The Dept. of General Medicine, MGMCRI had organized a Post Graduate Clinical Update Programme – CONFLUENCE 2016 for the benefit of Final year exam going post graduates. The programme was inaugurated by our Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Prof. K. R. Sethuraman, MD and he delivered an excellent talk on “Tips & Tricks for exam going PGs”. The programme was planned in such a way the case presentation sessions were moderated by Senior Professors from various Medical Colleges. A Senior Faculty from JIPMER, PIMS, AVMC, RMMC and SSSMCRI moderated the case presentation session.
The progamme was attended by various faculties from MGMCRI. Around 50 Post graduate students from MGMCRI and 60 PGs from other medical colleges in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu has actively participated and they had presented cases in the Clinical Update Programme.
The Programme received great accolade from faculties and post graduates and they have requested to conduct similar programme every year.
The Post graduate students expressed that it was a very good academic feast and it boosted their confidence to crack their PG exams.
