CAReTS in association with Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College (KGNC), Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV) organized two days public awareness outreach module on “Microplastics”. on 19th and 20th November 2018 at Pillaiyarkuppam and Madukarai, Puducherry. Public awareness on “Prevention and control of Microplastics” was organized as a role play to the general public of Pillaiyarkuppam village on 19th November 2018. Special motivational talk on “Avoid the use of plastics” was also given to the public as a part of the awareness program. A human puppet show on “Prevention and control of Microplastics” was performed to Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Madukkari, Puducherry students on 20th November 2018. A total of around 372 students participated in the program.
