A credit – based certificate course on “Music for Health & Wellness” was conducted by CMTER between 20.09.2019 to 22.09.2019. The participants included 7 internal and 7 external candidates from various fields of music, dance, nursing, school teachers, scientists. The course consisted of 3 external resource persons and 2 internal resource persons in the fields of music therapy, Music, physiology & Psychology. The external resourse persons were Prof. Rajshri Ramakrishna, Head of Dept of Indian Music, University of Madras, Dr.Baishali Mukherjee, faculty & research Associate, CSMT, Mr. Vikram Kannan, Music therapist , TTK Addiction Centre, Chennai. The internal resourse persons were Prof. Sumathy Sundar, Director, CMTER &Dr. S Krishna, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology, MGMCRI.
