Children’s Day Program was conducted by Department of Paedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, at Government Primary School, Moorthikuppam, Puducherry, on 28th November 2018. The school had a strength of 58 children and 13 teachers. Children’s Day Program was celebrated as ‘Brushing Day’ where all the children were given oral hygiene instructions and trained to brush. The children were gifted with a pack of crayons for their enthusiastic participation. Apart from oral screening of children, the school teachers were also educated about the importance of milk teeth and emergency management of traumatic dental injuries to anterior teeth.
