After a brief introduction by Prof. Saravana Kumar, Dean, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, the session ‘Digital Dental Photography- Basics Module’ commenced at 9.30 am. Dr Praveen, Senior Lecturer, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, IGIDS, SBV, discussed the importance of dental photography, various options and basic operation of DSLR. The hands-on session started at 11.30 am, where DSLR operation was reemphasized and photographs of typodont were taken using various settings. Post lunch session included a detailed discussion of various photographic options to invest and the program concluded with certificate distribution.
