“PEDO CONNECT” was a student interactive programme conducted by Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry on 23 rd Dec 2016 at MGMCRI block, first floor, SBV. The main objective of the program was an interactive session with Dr Arthur J Nowak, Professor Emeritus, University of Iowa. Total number of beneficiaries was 50. The program started with a welcome speech given by Dr Suganya M, Senior Lecturer, Department of Pedodontics, IGIDS. An overview of the department activities was presented as a power point by Dr Prathima GS, Professor and Head, Department of Pedodontics, IGIDS. This was followed by an interactive session between Prof Arthur J Nowak, faculty of Pedodontia , postgraduate students from host college and Pedodontia post graduate students from Annamalai Univeristy. A quiz contest was conducted by Dr Kirthiga M, Senior Lecturer, Department of Pedodontics, IGIDS. The participants were undergraduate students from IOWA, post graduates from Rajah Muthiah Dental College and IGIDS. The session concluded with a valedictory function and certificates were distributed to the winners and runners by Dr Arthur J Nowak.
