“One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child”. – Carl Jung
I strongly believe in the above quote as the teacher in me feels that the emotional component of the student-teacher relationship is more important to motivate the students in learning.
I create a congenial environment in the classroom which is free for interactions and promote active learning. I keep conversing with the students when explaining the concepts to check their understanding then and there. I keep myself ready to be approached at any time. Apart from teaching my subject I always tip them with exam preparation for all subjects and teach them how effectively they can integrate and learn subjects for better understanding and retention. I make them understand the significance of their education in relation to real life.
