ELSEVIER BOOK RELEASE – BLACK M JOYCE-TEXT BOOK OF MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING

Elsevier, a rich Informative and Analytics Company, and one of the world’s major providers of Scientific, Technical, and Medical Information, organized the Nursing Meet- 2019,holding the vital agenda of launching “Black’sText book of Medical-Surgical Nursing” at Hotel Accord, Puducherry on 31st of July 2019.

The Guest of Honor of the occasion, Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth Puducherry, the Adaptive Authors, Dr. Renuka K, Principal/ Head of Dept of Medical-Surgical Nursing of Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Puducherry and Dr. Malarvizhi, Professor, Head of Dept of Medical-Surgical Nursing, College of Nursing-Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science, Puducherry, accompanied with various principals, Vice- Principals and faculty members were invited for the auspicious  occasion.

Following a brief introduction about “Elsevier’sPlans Ahead for Nursing”, a prideful event the Book Launch of black M Joyce“Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing” Volume I and II, The First South Asian edition was released by Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Vice-Chancellor of SBV along with the two eminent adaptive authors Dr. Renuka K, &Dr. Malarvizhi and the first copy was received by Dr. Rebecca Samson, Dean, College of Nursing -Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry. Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Vice-Chancellor of SBV gave a keynote session on Nursing, following that Dr. Rebecca Samson, felicitated the authors and their tireless dedication. The product back M Joyce “Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing Text Books” Volume I and II introductions were given by Dr. Renuka K, & Dr. Malarvizhi, highlighting the differences brought forward in the First South Asian edition. Following the event, Dr. JaenyKemp, TNAI  Vice President South Region, Principal College of Nursing, G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital, deliberated a   section on “Technology Enhanced in Nursing Education”. The Programme Concluded with business discussion with excellent feedback and appreciation to the authors.
