In commemoration of World Malaria Day, Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College joined hands with Government of Puducherry, Primary Health Centre, in conducting a “Health Exhibition on Malaria Awareness Programme” on 25.04.2019 from 9.00am to1.30pm at, Kosapalayam, Puducherry “A Public Awareness Lecture cum Discussion”. In this programme, II year B. Sc (N) students of KGNC, exhibited the charts, models for a creative presentation and realistic setting on Mosquito breeding and the measures to control. The aim of the programme was to fulfill the theme of the year “ZERO MALARIA STARTS WITH ME” through the enhancement of the knowledge on Malaria, its prevention and control measures. Dr. K V Raman, Director, Department of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Puducherry observed the exhibition and appreciated the students. Followed by this event, the Awareness Rally on Malaria Prevention and Control measures took place.
