KGNC – WORLD LIVER DAY

Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing in unison with NSS unit of Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College commemorated the World Liver Day on 19.04.2018 at Rural Health Center at Seliamedu, Puducherry. II Year B.Sc (N) Students accompanied by Mrs Manopriya.V Asst. Prof & Mrs Ponmani.C Tutor, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing enacted a colourful Puppet show on the theme of the year- Spreading Awareness about Liver, The Role It Plays In Our Body & Liver-Related Disease for The Adolescent Group. The puppet showcased all aspects of maintaining a healthy liver & the required lifestyle modifications, Followed by, the health talk was given by Mrs Ponmani.C Faculty, Dept of MSN, regarding spreading awareness about Liver. The effectiveness of the programme was evident by the  on-spot oral and written feedback from all the beneficiaries as very useful & valuable, the programme was graded as excellent (“A”).
