 
| In commemoration of Newborn week Celebration, Department of Child Health Nursing KGNC, organized a series of activities like Preparation of Table Calendar Competition on – Newborn Care Guide, Soap Carving Competition on Newborn Care, Visual Display – Imprinting the most memorable moment of a prime mother experience with her newborn regarding breastfeeding. UG, PG, and PBBSc(N) students participated and gave their wonderful outputs. The core concept to promote, protect and support Newborn care was highly emphasized and also health talks were given by Post Basic B.Sc(N) Students at H1 ward, MGMCRI on 27.11.19 from 10.30am-11.30am and PHC, Kirumampakkam between 11am to 12 noon on 28.11.19. More than 54 beneficiaries benefited out of these health talks. Doubts were asked by the mothers and clarified. Feedbacks were collected from the beneficiaries. Those were very much useful and very interactive sessions for the beneficiaries.    |
