Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College a constituent college of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth conducted a wide range of competitions for the students were in terms of literary, fine arts, cultural and sports. The students rendered their hard work and took many initiatives in fulfilling their dreams by winning in their talented field. On 5.03.2019, the annual sports meet for Crescita 2019 was inaugurated by the honorable Prof. Subash Chandra Parija, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth and Dr. Renuka K Principal KGNC, along with the faculty members and students of KGNC. Later the Evening, the Awarding Ceremony in name of Apreciar ceremony took place with the immense presence of Deputy Inspector General, Sanjiv Trikha. TM, Commander, Coast Guard, UT of Puducherry along with the honorable Vice- Chancellor Prof. Subash Chandra Parija, SBV, Dr. Renuka K Principal, KGNC, and Prof. Sumathy P, Vice- Principal KGNC, appreciated the winners and awarded with certificates of Appreciation and Mementoes. The chief guest Deputy Inspector General, Sanjiv Trikha. TM, Commander, Coast Guard, UT of Puducherry Addressed the students by making them realize that “everybody is the winner”, also he encouraged the student nurses in understanding the importance and the opportunity in navy nursing. The speech was so promising and the students were motivated to join as navy nurses as their career advancing placement. The awarding ceremony was once for all a successful accomplishment to the team of KGNC.
