In Commemoration of World Kidney Day, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing organized a World Kidney Day on 14.03.2019 at Lions Club Centenary Dialysis Center, Moolakulam, and Puducherry. The II Year B.Sc (N) Students enacted a colorful Role-play on the theme of the year- “Kidney Health for Everyone & Everywhere”. The Role-play showcased all aspects of Kidney disease and the treatment modalities & also ways of maintaining a healthy Kidney & the required lifestyle modification. Nearly 30 patients & caregivers were empowered with the knowledge of Kidney Health & its value for healthy living. The Effectiveness of the programme was evident by the on spot oral and written feedback from all the beneficiaries.
