Mrs Sherin Nithya S
I Am Sherin Nithya, graduated in 2004 With B.Sc(N) with RN &RM from the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. University, Chennai. My first job after my graduation, I started my career as an Oncology Nurse at Apollo Onco Specialty Hospital, Chennai. I worked for about two years, those days I earned the art of promote patient care and recovery, improve staff wellbeing. There has been growing interest in using the arts of practical skill in therapeutic interventions. After those critical skilled learning period to upgrade my standard. In the year 2009 completed M.Sc(N) in Paediatric Nursing, from Apollo College of Nursing, Chennai, from the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. University, Chennai. I joined as a Lecturer in M.A Chidambaram College of Nursing, Chennai. I handled third year Peadiatric students in that College. Later, I joined in KGNC as an Assistant Professor and worked for U.G , P.G Paediatric Nursing Students , Nursing Research , Nursing Education and Nursing Management. I always believe, becoming a Nurse is one of the most selfless acts a person can undertake. In a society of so many different races, cultures, customs, and beliefs, nurses are a universal gift to all, and the dedicated work that they do and kindness they deliver on a daily basis should serve as a reminder of the fundamental humanity inside us all. Over the past 14 years I realized being a Nurse is a real gift of God to serve the mankind.

Commitment to delivering effective instructional and theory background and helping to develop better clinical experience for students.Undergraduated from college of nursing, Madras Medical College in 1998 and Post Graduated from Vivekananda institute of nursing,Thiruchengodu in 2006.
Have clinical experience under qualified hospital personnel. My long history of teaching experience started from, Acharya CON, Bangalore and joined KGNC, SBV in 2010. I exhibit strong teaching methodologies and demands, high standards to ensure to winning learners. Focussed on preparing and motivating each nurse candidate to be an effective health care provider, nurse researcher and efficient nurse educator in future.

I have two years and six months clinical experience in Critical care unit of Apollo Speciality hospital,Chennai.This gave me a rich experience to work in a NABH accredited hospital where i handeled Neuro and Onco critical patients .This showed me that Nursing is all about touching lives and lives touching yours along the way.I did my post graduation in speciality of Pediatric Nursing, College of Nursing,Madras Medical College,Chennai(2012-2014) .Here i got to learn in entire different senario of work experience in a corporate hospital.I practiced as a student in South Asia's biggest children Hospital "Institute of Child Health ",Egmore,Chennai,attached to Madras Medical College.
I joined Kasturba Gnadhi Nursing College ,Sri Balaji Vidhyapeeth University on 10.11.2014 as tutor in department of Child Health Nursing.
This Institution made me a good Professional ,creative and flexible with analytical skills.Here I demonstrate professional integrity and accountability among students.My Philosophy is to obtain better nurses in future who are able to effectively functions in the working world and touch life of suffering people.
