KGNC takes its own pride to publish Professional National Journal for nurses which provides a user-friendly forum for sharing and stimulating therapeutic ideas among health professionals working in both the public and independent sectors titled Pondicherry Journal of Nursing. It contains a wealth of information about original research and review articles. It covers news and views on issues of concern to all professional groups working with patients, children and families in a therapeutic environment. Our journal in the field of publication started in the year 2008. It has its ISSN No.2279-0144 from the year 2012 with 4 issues per year. We have around 100 subscribers nationwide. This opportunity helps all the nationwide writers working as faculty and nurses. It also helps the students and scholars doing research work in the field of nursing. PJN from the year 2019 onwards has migrated to a new platform taken over by M/S Jaypee Brothers, Medical Publishers, New Delhi. The journal is now an online open access International peer reviewed journal with many National and International members on the Editorial Board.

Objectives

1. To publish the article and disseminate the research finding to the health care professionals.
2. To carry out nursing research using different designs.
3. To acquire skills in developing and applying the valid research tools.
4. To execute suitable conceptual framework in nursing studies.
5. To establish financial incentives for investing in nursing research and promote more studies.
6. To critically appraise the articles for quality publication, this endows the researcher with an extra measure of prestige.

9. To provide advice to the journal editor on quality, relevance and originality of the paper being considered for publication.

2. Circulating all received article for editing by following author guidelines, analyzing the quality of the article.
3. Mailing section editors suggestion about the article .Publishing the article after getting international peer review member’s opinion.
