Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, the Vice-Chancellor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Deemed to be University, inaugurated the Super Specialty services at the Urban Health Training Centre (City Centre) of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, located at Pillai Thootam, Pondicherry.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Parija said “Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, a leading tertiary care health care provider in and around Pondicherry with advanced health care services, is providing the super specialty and specialty health care facilities at its Urban Health Training Centre. This facility will augment the facilities of the Urban Health Training Centre”.
Super-specialty services such as Cardiology, Urology, Neurology, and specialties like Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, General Medicine and Dental Sciences are provided in the evening slots at the Centre.
Dean, Prof. M. Ravishankar, Medical Superintendent, Prof. Nirmal Coumare, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Swati Pawar, Heads of various departments, Head, Department of Community Medicine and others were present in the event.
