As part of Swachhata HI Seva week 2018, the Literature and debate club organised an Intra college essay writing Competition on 25.09.2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lecture hall 6, MGMCRI and as many as more than 50 students participated from all the batches together.
Topics – “Clean and Green India: My Dream and Making Clean and Green Living More Accessible and Sustainable” were given and the participants were asked to write on any one of the topics and they were given a total of 90 minutes during which the participants put on their thinking caps and penned down their thoughts and views on the given topics.
Judging was based on perfection, creativity, completion, relevance to the topic and the overall impact of the essay Dr Uma A.N judged the essays and picked the top 3 outstanding essays.
All the participants were given Participation Certificates and the winners were given trophy and certificate in the Swachh Bharat program presided by Prof.S.C.PARIJA, VICE CHANCELLOR, SBV UNIVERSITY, Prof.N.ANANTHAKRISHNAN, Dean – Research and Allied Health Sciences, MGMCRI, Prof.M.RAVISHANKAR, DEAN, MGMCRI, Prof.PARTHA NANDI – VICE PRINCIPAL STUDENTS, MGMC&RI and other dignitaries, that was conducted at 4 pm on the same day in Lecture hall 1, MGMCRI. All the participants were given Certificate of Participation. The overall event was coordinated by the Literature and debate club.
