 
A very special event in the name of “SBV Knowledge Tree” has been initiated under the chairmanship of Prof. Ravishankar, Dean of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute. The programme was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of SBV on 19th December 2018, at 3.00 pm in the Ground Floor Lecture Hall of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute. Prof. Manoj Das, from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a recipient of Padma Shree Award, Saraswati Samman award, Utkal Ratna, NTR National Literary award, Amrita Keerti National award, who is a competent interpreter of India’s Literary and spiritual heritage who has delivered numerous talks at various institutions in India and abroad addressed the students and faculty under the aegis of SBV Knowledge Tree. He enhanced the students and the faculties with a huge knowledge about death and immortality.
Mrs.P.Lavanya, Tutor of Microbiology, AHSÂ received a certificate of appreciation for being a part of the organizing team member during the Research Week 2018 conducted by the Deanery Research & Scientific & academic for a of SBV on 03.01.2019.
Dr. A.N. Uma, Vice Principal, AHS was awarded a cash prize of Rs.5000 for guiding ICMR-STS 2017 project during the Research Week 2018 conducted by the Deanery Research & Scientific & academic for a of SBV on 03.01.2019.
