ABOUT THE COURSE
M.Sc Medical Microbiology is a 3 years full-time course under the Faculty of Medicine. The objective of this course is to establish a good knowledge of Bacteriology, Virology, Parasitology, Mycology and Immunology. They are exposed to diagnostic and research work so that they can carry out fundamental or applied research in various branches of Medical Microbiology. After completion of this course, one can seek opportunity as a Faculty in Medical College, as Scientist/PhD Scholar/Research Assistant in Research Institutes.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who have completed B.Sc. in any stream of science such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Microbiology or an equivalent degree in a science stream from a recognized board are eligible for Master of Science M.Sc. Medical Microbiology course.
