Postgraduate
The Institute has been accepting students for postgraduate courses since 2007. Teaching programs for postgraduates students include case conferences, journal club, dermatopathology discussion, short talks, seminars, symposium, teaching ward rounds, regular MRD visits for ICD classification. Each postgraduate student’s performance is assessed through a prescribed assessment format by the faculty. Model examinations are conducted prior to the University examinations.
Undergraduate
The Undergraduates are taught by extensive use of audio-visual aids to reinforce their understanding of the subject. The curriculum followed is as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Clinical demonstrations and case presentations are done in small groups to reach out to every student. Assessment of the students done at the end of the clinical posting by Objective Structured Clinical Examination [OSCE] and theory test conducted at the end of the semester. Feedbacks are taken from the students at the end of the semester and clinical postings.
