 Non-AHA BLS course was conducted at SANTE Clinic, Auroville on the 16th of February 2019, for a group of eight candidates. Out of which, four were first-responders of Auroville Safety & Security Team (AVSST) and four were from the Auroville Ambulance Service. These teams of a total of eight people have been training once a week in handling medical emergencies. This training consisted of lectures and practical sessions over a period of six months, prior to taking the non-AHA BLS course. This team also trained and prepared to call for backup (outside emergency services) in case of mass casualty.
