 | To commemorate World Breastfeeding Week Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing organized Roleplay by B.Sc. (Nursing) I year students at Urban Primary Health Centre at Thiruporur. The program was organized on 3rd August 2021 by Dr.Helen Shaji J.C, Principal of SSSCON, and Event coordinator Ms.S.Mahalakshmi and Mr.Snowden SSSCON. The Program was started at 11 am, with an introduction was given by Dr.Siva Sankari Department of community medicine, Dr.Judy, Department of Paediatrics, SSSMCRI has given a health talk on Awareness of breastfeeding. The theme of this year’s World Breastfeeding Week is “Protect Breastfeeding: A Shared Responsibility”. It focuses on how breastfeeding contributes to the survival, health, and wellbeing of all. A Roleplay was done by I Year BSc(Nursing) Students, the concept of the skit was the importance of breastfeeding benefits of mother and child, methods, exclusive breastfeeding, and storage of breast milk, public asked the doubts and clarified the program adjoined at 12pm. About 50 Patients attended the program in the Urban Primary Health Centre. |
