HANDS-ON WORKSHOP ON VERTEBROPLASTY AND BONE BIOPSY

The official inaugural ceremony commenced at 8.30 am with SBV anthem, video clipping of SBV, IHRC Theme song, message of chancellor and message of vice-chancellor following which the organizing chairman and Head of the department, Prof.Dr.I.Gurubharath was invited to give the welcome address following which the briefing about the conference was given by organizing secretary Dr.Harshavardhan.B. This was followed by a talk on vertebroplasty by Prof.Dr.Roy Santhosham
The Cadaveric hands on workshop on image-guided vertebroplasty and bone biopsy was organised in 2 stations with each station under expert supervision
Post lunch session was followed by hands-on workshop on CT guided Bone biopsy by Dr.Abubacker Sulaiman. CT guided bone biopsy was performed on a mannequin and individual hands-on training was given for all delegates.
