The department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology commemorated “National Oral Pathologists’ Day” during the birth anniversary of Dr. H. M. Dholakia. On 25th February 2021, Webinar was conducted for the dental undergraduates and postgraduates followed by camp at Cuddalore Government Hospital the next day. Around 133 delegates attended the webinar session. Dr. A. Santha Devy welcomed the resource persons and delegates. Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. Madhavan Nirmal followed by two lectures by Dr. Meganand T. Nayak and Dr. Priya on the topics “Saliva – says it all” and “Mind set of Oral Pathologists” respectively. On the second day, oral cancer screening camp was organized at Cuddalore Government Hospital wherein around 40 patients were screened. We also felicitated Dr. Ramesh Babu, Joint Director and Dr. Asokan, Senior Dental Surgeon with Commendation Certificate as a mark of respect and for the service rendered to the society.
