The World Tuberculosis Day is being commemorated globally on 24th March every year with a dedicated theme. This year theme “The Clock is Ticking” reinforces to increase our commitment and engagement to end the TB disease.
One of the key efforts is to improve the awareness among the professionals and the public about the biggest infectious disease killer. Aligning with this effort, the department of Pulmonary Medicine has organized this CME to update the future practitioners (Interns and Postgraduates) and Staff Nurses on the latest in the programmatic management of Tuberculosis. Now more than ever, we need redoubled support to raise awareness to prevent the risk of losing thousands of lives to a curable and preventable disease.
