For your kind information: The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi has permitted MGMCRI to conduct renal transplantation at its hospital. The Transplant ICU of MGMCRI is well equipped with state of art facilities to support multi-organ transplantation. The Transplant ICU is a, level III ICU with round the clock coverage by trained Intensivist, and 1:1 Patient Nurse ratio. The additional ten bedded intensive care unit is equipped with advanced ventilator support, haemodynamic monitoring facility including intra-aortic balloon pump. The facility of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) within the ICU is a unique feature of this setup and first of its kind in the private health care sector in Pondicherry.
