Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV), Deemed to be University has been accredited by NAAC with A++ Grade (CGPA of 3.58 on 4 point scale) at the Second Cycle held during December 2021 vide reference No. 2 as cited above.

SBV was graded to be among the category I Deemed to be Universities by UGC. SBV is ranked one among the top 100 Universities in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) since 2016.

With the advent of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and also the conferment of Category I Deemed to be University status subsequent to NAAC A ++ Grade obtained by SBV, the Board of Management of SBV at its 36th meeting dated 10th November 2023 had recommended the need for the overall development and sustained growth that should be enhanced by Qualitative and Quantitative endeavours.

Based on the approval accorded by its Board of Management, SBV intends to start the following programmes at its proposed campus at Karaikal which falls in the same Union Territory where SBV is located.

Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth will be conducting Interview / Assessment for the purpose of admitting students to MBA Programme. The Application is meant for registering the candidate for Interview / Assessment Conducted by Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth for admission into the programme.

The Selection will be based on the merit at the qualifying degree and the performance at the interview conducted by Admission Committee of SBV. Both national and international candidates are eligible to apply.


  • Application forms are available online only. It should be duly filled up by the candidates and submitted online along with the scanned copies of requested documents as pdf (Document Size not exceeding 3 MB) and recent passport size color photograph as attachment (jpeg format, Size:  250 KB).
  • The Registration fee of 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) should be paid online, while submitting the online application and it will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Candidates should attach only scanned copies of Self Attested Certificates related to qualification, age and community namely qualifying Degree, Mark sheet(s), Birth Certificate and Community Certificate etc. The Mark Sheet(s) of the Qualifying examination in original and other Original Documents have to be                  produced only at the time of counseling.
  • Applications will not be entertained if incomplete or uploaded without attaching the scanned copies of the relevant certificates and without paying the registration fee online.
  • Candidates who have appeared for the UG Examinations in 2024 should necessary enclose a scanned copy of the UG Examination Hall ticket with the online application form. If the UG mark sheets  are not  available at the time of applying, the candidates should send the scanned   copy of their UG mark sheets  prior to the date of admission process without fail.
  • The scanned copy of the UG mark sheet has to be submitted through the e-mail [email protected] mentioning the Candidate name, programme opted, Registration Number generated by the SBV application portal, well in advance to the date of the Admission process, if not submitted along with the application form.
  • All Interview related communications like (Hall Ticket/Call Letter, Interview Results and Counseling Intimation Order etc.,) will be sent through Application Portal as well as available in our website only. Hence the candidates are advised to keep their User ID and Password for their future reference. No separate communication will be sent to any individual e-mail or SMS.
  • It is the responsibility of the applicant to keep himself / herself updated about the Admission process through the Application portal.

  The time line for the Selection procedures for the programmes will be notified in due course of time.

Important Dates to Remember

Last date for submission of completed  application form (Online) : 31.07.2024

The Date for Personal Interview / Assessment will be intimated later.

The online application forms should be submitted on or before the last date mentioned by 5.00 PM (server time) 31.07.2024. SBV will not responsible for any technical delay. Incomplete / wrongly filled application will be summarily rejected. The application submitted after the due date and time also will be summarily rejected and no further correspondence in the matter will be entertained.


  • The candidates are expected to submit their statement of marks before they appear for their counseling.
  • This application is meant for registering the candidates for attending Interview conducted by SBV towards the selection of candidates for admission.
  • Admission / No. of seats available / notified are subject to norms prescribed by
    Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)
  • Admissions are made provisional and are subject to approval of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). No further correspondence will be entertained on any matters pertaining to admission to the programme. Any dispute is subject to Puducherry jurisdiction.
  • Selection list will be hosted on the Website. No separate intimation will be sent to the student.
  • Fees once paid will not be returned under any circumstances. Following the commencement of the programme, the directives / guidelines of UGC will be followed for refund, in case of request that is placed before the commencement of the programme. If the student wants to discontinue from the programme at any point following the admission process, the candidate has to pay the full tuition fee for the entire duration of the programme, before relief from the programme.
