The alumni of Center for Music Therapy Education and Research from all over India gathered on 06-02-2019 in Saranga Deva Hall to celebrate and salute music therapy profession. They shared their experiences about practicing music therapy in the community after stepping out of SBV. It was a day filled with music with all the alumni composing and performing songs saluting the music therapy profession. Dr. Sumathy Sundar, Director motivated all the alumni about the need for music therapy advocacy programs to take forward music therapy in the country. The students did a video shoot, showcasing their learning experiences, cherishing their past experiences and reminiscing special moments. All the students saluted SBV’s pioneering efforts to advance and establish music therapy in India as an innovative component into medical care.
