Note: The last date for receiving the applications for attending SBV Annual Convocation 2023 (Medical) in Person has been extended till 10/08/2023 (Thursday). Applications received after 10th August 2023 would be considered only for in absentia
Owing to the fact that the number of graduands who have confirmed their participation in person are more and also because of the fact that we would like to see each graduand walk up to the dais to receive the scroll from the Hon’ble Chancellor, it has been decided to hold the SBV Annual Convocation 2024, Pondicherry campus in two phases
Day 1: 22/08/2024, Thursday (Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry and PhD graduands in Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry as in their provisional certificates issued).

It is hereby directed that all the graduands who have registered to appear in person should essentially be present as per their above mentioned dates.
          The list of eligible graduands from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing Sciences, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences and the PhD Graduands for the ensuing convocation will be uploaded in our website shortly.
ln this connection, the eligible graduands are requested to download the application form, from SBV website (www.sbvu.ac.in) and send the completed applications along with the credentials and the convocation fees on or before 31st July 2024 to the office of the Registrar, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, SBV Campus, Pillaiyarkuppam, Pondicherry – 607 402 and also mail the scanned copy to [email protected].

- Qualifying Degree Certificate (For PGs, PhD students)
- Provisional Certificate was issued for the degree applied.
- The graduands are requested to mention in the application whether they will receive their degree in person / in absentia. Those graduands who have opted for in – person alone will be admitted in person for the Convocation and the rest who had opted in absentia will receive the Certificate by post.
- The applications received from the eligible graduands on or before 31st July 2024 will only be permitted to attend the Convocation in person.

Day 1: 22/08/2024, Thursday (Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry and PhD graduands in Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry as in their provisional certificates issued).
The Annual Convocation 2023 for the Faculty of Medicine of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Deemed to be University, Pondicherry accredited by NAAC with A ++ Grade, is being planned in the month of August 2023. The Convocation ceremony will be conducted at SBV Pondicherry campus.
The list of eligible graduands from the Faculty of Medicine for the ensuing convocation will be uploaded in our website shortly. The list of eligible graduands of 2017 MBBS batch from MGMCRI and SSSMCRI who will be completing their internship by 31st July 2023 and DM, MCh, MD, MS, FURGRA, Fellowships & M.Sc. Medical as per the batch notified below will be eligible for this convocation. The list of the medal winners will also be uploaded in the website shortly.

CONVOCATION FEES
Demand Draft for Rs.3000/- (Rupees three thousand only) in favor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, payable at Pondicherry has to be necessarily attached by all the graduands.

NOTE
- The graduands are requested to mention in the application whether they will receive their degree in person / in absentia.
- Such of those candidates who have opted for receiving the degree certificate in person and whose filled-in applications are received on or before 8th August 2023 will only be allowed to attend the Convocation.
