In his “National Youth Day” address, Prof. Parija, Hon VC of SBV emphasized “Yoga is panacea for both mind and body that was extolled by one of the greatest saints of India, Swami Vivekananda. True to the words of Swami Vivekananda, the youth of our country has got immense potentials to serve India and the global community and in this regard, the tenets depicted in art and science of Yoga would culminate in the Youth of India being churned out into well-rounded professionals endowed with spiritual attributes. SBV has taken the lead in showing the country that the power of mass yoga would instil in the young minds confidence, values and ethical practice. The role played by CYTER is highly commendable as they have not only organized this event but also given Yoga training to all students of SBV through “Yogabhyasa” program. Such regular and qualitative Yoga training has resulted in this mass demonstration being so exemplary”

The “Award of Excellence” bestowed on CYTER during the 26th International Yoga Festival of Govt of Puducherry, Dept of Tourism was then handed over to the Vice-Chancellor by Prof Madanmohan. The Hon VC then honoured major contributors to the event and Yogacharini Latha of Berlin with the official letter of nomination to the International Advisory Board of CYTER.
