Inaugural of “Public Health Education Series” named “Arogiyam Arivoam”

As per the directives of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth has initiated the concept of “Public Health Education Series” named “Arogiyam Arivoam”. This series is aimed to promote knowledge about Common Diseases and Health Conditions among the general public as well as patients & caregivers. This session is planned for 2^nd and 4^th Thursdays of every month.

In this regard, a committee named Public Health Education Committee (PHEC) has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Prof. N. Seetharaman, Head, Department of Community Medicine, MGMCRI.

Departments from the three constituent colleges of SBV main campus would be contributing to the conduct of this health series.

This Public Health Awareness Series will be inaugurated by Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Vice-Chancellor on 24^th January 2019 at 2.00 pm in the Ground Floor Seminar Hall of Bapuji Central Library.

Following this, the first session on “Oral Hygiene and Prosthodontics” is organized for the general public.

All are requested to attend the inaugural event.
