The Examinations Division of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth – Deemed University is responsible for conducting all the summative examinations of all programs of the Deemed University. The division conducts over 30 examinations in an academic year and thousands of students appear for them. The division is also responsible for setting the question papers as per syllabus, examination pattern and curriculum set by the Deemed University in accordance with regulations of various statutory bodies. 

The Division is automated with use of ICT that minimises human participation in critical processes ensuring minimisation of risk of human error. Numerous Examinations related innovations, improvements and novel methods have been developed and implemented by the division that have been tested and validated by the deemed University’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell. 

The Division is independent from every other academic organ of the Deemed University and reports directly to the Vice Chancellor for its day to day affairs and to the Board of Management for strategic directions. The division is headed by the Controller of Examinations, who is assisted by deputy controllers of examinations, clerks and technicians. 

The division’s work is efficiently managed through established procedures and processes based on best practices and are honed to precision. Examination results are released within days of completion of the examination.
