DAY 3

  • Live demonstration of diagnostic endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures in small groups – (2 to 3 hours)
  • Endoscopy and accessories demonstration
  • Disinfection and maintenance demonstration
  • Basis of simulation and learning using various simulators tools
  • Open house with delegates – discussion in various endoscopy challenges Q and A sessions
  • Screening of master videos / live sessions – Endotherapy in Upper GI, Lower GI and HPB

Minimal Parameters in Log Book

Exam category  – minimum 25 cases

Non-exam category – minimum 100 cases

  1. Age
  2. Sex
  3. Endoscopic procedures
  4. Role – Assisted/under supervision/Independent
  5. Post-procedure course – Uneventful / Eventful
  6. Complication – Infection, Bleeding, perforation, stricture, failure to complete, and Others
  7. Remarks – Type the outcome of the event, if the patient has been conservatively managed, Recovered, Diseased, Transferred to surgical intervention, etc.
