 
ANTI RAGGING SENSITIZATION PROGRAM
As per the directives of UGC & DCI, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Sri Balaji
Vidyapeeth, conducted an anti ragging sensitization program for the faculties, anti ragging
committee members, hostel warden and few representative students. The anti ragging
sensitization was conducted on 12 th January 2018, 2.30 PM, at the conference hall, IGIDS. Prof.
Sainath M.C, MDS (Orthodontist), Principal, Madha Dental College, Chennai, and a DCI
inspector, gave a lecture on the psychosocial reasons of ragging and the legal actions against
ragging at various levels from student to the institute level. The session ended with vote of
thanks by Prof. Saravana Kumar, Principal, IGIDS, and as a token of appreciation a memento
was given to the guest speaker.
