 The Department of Periodontology, Indira Gandhi Insitute Of Dental Sciences ,Sri BalajiVidyapeeth, organized and conducted oral and periodontal health screening and general treatment camp at Primary school, Panruti, as a part of departmental outreach activity on 8 thJuly 2018 between 9 AM to 2 PM. Dr Saravana Kumar (HOD) and Dr.Karthikeyan I,(SeniorLecturer) along with 2 post graduates and 10 CRRI screened a total of 271 people and few teachers for oral and Periodontal health status. Oral hygiene instructions and pamphlets with instructions were distributed.Free medicines were given to patients when in need. Camp referral cards were given to the patients for availing of any service required regarding Oral health at the Indira GandhiInstituteOf Dental Sciences
