 An Educational Career Guidance Expo – 2019 was organized by Labour Department, Government of Puducherry for 5 consecutive days from 29.05.2019 to 02.06 .2019 between 6.00 pm and 9.30 pm at Gandhi Thidal, Puducherry Beach. Mr.Surendran S R, Tutor, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, KGNC and Mrs.Apoorvalakshmi Tutor in Pathology, AHS were deputed on behalf of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth to highlight their respective units. The hospital services offered at MGMCRI were also briefed to the beneficiaries of the Career Guidance Expo. Pamphlets regarding the Medical & Dental services offered at SBV were distributed to the onlookers. Participants informed and motivated with the various courses offered at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth and Educational Facilities and Placement Opportunities. On First Day 29.05.2019, the program was formally inaugurated by Mr.Vallavan, honorable Labour Commissioner of Puducherry. All Nursing courses & the Allied Health Sciences courses brochure were exhibited at Expo stall, which enlightened almost hundred people regarding courses offered at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth in detail. On the last day (02.06.2019) honorable Chief Minister of Puducherry Mr.Narayanaswamy, Honorable Labour Minister of Puducherry Mr.Kandasamy and Honorable Labour Commissioner of Puducherry Mr.Vallavan honored the institutions’ representatives with certificates and mementos and appreciated the institutions have participated in Career Guidance Educational Expo at Valedictory function.
