 
With reference to the circular No.121/LS/PA/2019-LD dated on 22.11.19 of the Under Secretary (Law ), Chief Secretariat , Puducherry and as per the Directives of Government Puducherry , Directorate of Higher and Technical Education , the Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences ,Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University ) Puducherry had celebrated the “Constitution Day “on 26.11.2019 in the Institution campus .
The students and faculties were gathered and they were emphasized on the facts and the importance of Constitution, they also had an insight into the fundamental duties that every citizen of India should hold. The program highlighted and insisted on the importance of how to uphold and protect the Unity and Integrity of India. To this few more lines of importance on how do we need to preserve the heritage of our culture, protection of the natural environment, to develop humanism was also marked. The students and faculties of IGIDS took the Pledge, after which the students had attended and received a message from the live telecast program delivered by our Honorable Prime Minister at around 11. AM.
