 On 22nd Feb 2021, the Department of Prosthodontics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, conducts its Internal Sensitisation programme in Special Care Dentistry with the Guest Speaker Dr. Jacob John Chiremel Chandy, Associate Professor, Restorative Dentistry, University of Malaya, Malaysia. The programme would be moderated by Dr. P. S. Manoharan, Professor, and Head, Department of Prosthodontics. The session is an online event second in its series of special care dentistry. The first of the series was conducted on 19th January 2021 with Dr. Maryani Binti Mohamed Rohani as an online event on introducing Special Care Dentistry and its components and features. This endeavor is from the Department of Prosthodontics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences under the directives of our Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, to establish a Geriatric Care in Dentistry at the institute following University of Malaya collaboration with Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth.
