 
ORAL and Maxillofacial Surgeon’s day was observed on Feb 13th 2015 at 2nd floor, Lecture Hall, MGMCRI. With an objective to educate students about the importance of oral surgeon’s day and to bring an insight on the orthognathic and hair transplant surgeries various activities was conducted by oral surgery department of IGIDS. Capsule talk on hair transplant surgery and orthognathic surgery was delivered to the students. Dr. Krishnakumar raja, Prof. & HOD , SRM DENTAL COLLEGE covered the topic “Orthognathic in a nutshell” and Dr. Sainath Matsa, Founder & CEO, Praseedha Hair transplant clinic, Chennai covered a Topic “The Road not Taken”. To acknowledge the contribution of the department a short video clipping describing the various activities of the department was screened.
