The Department of Periodontics, IGIDS, SBV, conducted a screening camp at Mannadipet Government School as a part of “Oral Hygiene Month Celebrations” on 7th August 2018 between 10 AM to 1 PM. The camp was conducted with the support of 10 CRRI, 2 postgraduates and 3 faculty members. A total of 150 comprised of 135 students and 15 villagers were screened for oral and periodontal health. Oral hygiene instructions and brushing technique were taught to the students. Free medicines were given to patients when needed. Oral hygiene instructions pamphlets were distributed to all students and villagers participated in the camp.
