 
In commemoration of World Students Day, a program was planned to create awareness about importance of oral health among school students. To fulfil this aim a treatment camp was planned on Oral Hygiene and its effect on Systemic Disease at Government Higher Secondary School, Uzhavarkarai, Pondicherry for 1 day (15th OCTOBER 2019). A team of Doctors conducted a screening as well as treatment for the school students of both primary and higher secondary. Treatment such as scaling, restoration done for the school students. This camp was organized by Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, in collaboration with Indian Dental Association, Puducherry Branch and Rotary club of Pondicherry. During this camp students were enlightened about the importance of oral health, explained about oral health education and hand washing technique. Around 200 students got benefited from the program.Â
