On 08/01/2020, the program was inaugurated by chief guest Mrs. Bindu Modi, Clinical Psychologist, President Sathya special School, Trustee Zwilling Foundation India. Dr. G. S. Prathima, Prof. & Head welcomed the gathering. There were a series of lectures via Skype and in person by International resource person Dr. Arthur J. Nowak, Professor Emeritus, Pediatric Dentistry, College of Dentistry, University of IOWA , and national resource persons such as Dr. Chitra Shah, Founder Director Sathya Special School, Puducherry , Dr. Sharath Asokan, Prof. & Head, Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, KSR Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Tiruchengode, Dr. Shruthi B. Patil, Prof, & Head, Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad and Dr. Balachander. S., Assistant Professor, Department of Anaesthesiology, MGMCRI, SBV on Special Care Dentistry. In the post noon session, there was e-poster competition for the participants under the category: UG / PG / FACULTY. The program concluded with a valedictory function where in , the e-poster winners were awarded. The winners of “children’s day and Pedodontist day” conducted on Nov14th 2019 too were awarded on the same day by Dr. Santha Devy, Vice-Principal, IGIDS.
