The Scientific and Academic Forum, IGIDS, conducted a Student Enrichment Program on career development on Wednesday, 20th Nov 2024, between 14:00 and 16:00 hrs. The resource person was Dr.M.S.Chandragupta, BDS MBA, F.C.I.P, D.I.M, PGDHRM, PGDGC, FICOI, Diploma in Orthodontics, Diode Laser Dentistry Gold Foil Restoration, Director and Founder & Chief Dentist in Dr. Gupta’s Dental Specialities Centre who connected via online. The target audiences were the CRRIs of IGIDS. The program started with playing of the IGIDS anthem following which Ms. Nisha S, Intern, IGIDS, SBV welcomed and addressed the gathering following which Prof Dr. Pavithranand, Head of Department, Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, IGIDS, SBV introduced the speaker. The speaker delivered a lecture on ‘Practice Management’. The speaker briefed on different possible opportunities present after graduation, ways of opening, managing and developing a clinic and different clinical and administrative skills necessary for patient management. The talk was well received and was informative with the participants.
