Lifeline express or so called; “hospital on wheels” is the first train in the world to provide healthcare services to the rural population of India. Over a million people have been treated on board this train. It was a personal ambition to be a part of such an honorable project. The 161st project was scheduled from 8th Feb to 23rd Feb 2015 at Motihaari, Bihar.The dental camp was held from 11th to 19th February 2015. The treatment provided was extractions, restoration and oral prophylaxis. Over a 1000 patients were screened and treated appropriately. The exact figures are as follows:
- Total number of patients screened – 800
- Total number of patient treated – 690
- Total number of teeth extracted – 260
- Total number of teeth restored – 210
- Total number of oral prophylaxis – 220
