The inter-disciplinary, collaborative studies have been done with the Faculty of Medicine (departments of Psychiatry, General Medicine, Pulmonology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Faculty of Nursing, and Faculty of Dentistry. They have been done for the under-served communities of Special Children, Senior Citizens, and the Transgender community in Pondicherry. The overall finding in our works is that yoga and music as adjuvant therapy are found to halt disease progression and that such an integrative approach can enhance patient care with regard to COPD, depression, alcoholic deaddiction, diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma, hypertension, autism spectrum disorder, etc.
