Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College (KGNC) was established in 2003. KGNC offers 4 years of B.Sc (N), 2years of M.Sc (N), 2 years of P.B.B.Sc (N) and 2 years of NPCC programmes. Post Graduate Programmes in Nursing is offered with specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetrical and Gynecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing. Ph.D (N) is offered by SBV Deemed to be University. KGNC nurtures the learning experience of the students in Multi Speciality parent Hospital MGMCRI, Rural and Urban health centers where students are encouraged to develop self confidence, thrust for new knowledge, attitude, skill, critical thinking and learning through inquiry and reason.
