 
The Department of Child Health Nursing, KGNC organized an exhibition on “Care from Birth: Pediatric Practices & Equipments” on April 7, 2025, at the Kalpana Chawla library, KGNC. The event showcased innovative models and projects by III year V semester students under the guidance of their faculty. Dr. Soundararajan, HOD of the Department of Pediatrics at MGMCRI, and Dr. Punitha Josephine S, Principal of KGNC, participated as judges and evaluated the projects based on structured criteria and winners were selected.
Winners are:
- First Place: Mr. Roshna R & Sheerin Banu M A and team for their Immunization and Cold Chain model
- Second Place: Mr. Abdul Raheem M Y & Abinav J L and team for Photo therapy model.
- Third Place (by two teams):Mr. Antony Joe Richard T C & Swetha Joseph and team for Play Materials model and Ms. Ashmi J S & Ms. Arul Arasi S and team for NICU Setup model
Winners were appreciated with mementos. The evaluators were impressed by the visual presentation of the models and the oral presentations by the students. The exhibition was attended by teaching and non-teaching staffs from KGNC, as well as UG and PG students and staff nurses from MGMCRI. Teamwork and coordination were highly appreciated by all, with each group presentation being commendable. All the participants were appreciated with e-certificates.
