 The management of SBV, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Fire and Safety organized an Awareness Programme on Fire and Safety on 13.10.2018, Aiming to acquire adequate knowledge and skill in operating a Fire Extinguisher. Mrs Arumugam, Fire Safety Officer, took a detailed class on Types and Causes of fire in a sector and the different types of fire extinguisher used to put off different types of fire, and also demonstrated the safe way of operating a Fire Extinguisher. The entire Faculty from KGNC took an active part in the class by Clarifying doubts and also by doing a return demonstration of operating a fire extinguisher. The class was much benefited to all personnel in such a way that minor to manageable fire accidents will be handled by an individual until the hand of experts arrive.
