KGNC & SNA joint hands with TNNMC to celebrate the 200th Year Birth Anniversary Celebration of Florence Nightingale and International Nurses Day Celebration with Theme NURSES: “A VOICE TO LEAD – NURSING THE WORLD TO HEALTH” from 08.05.2020 to 12.05.2020 through Online during the lockdown period for the student Nurses and Nursing Faculty. UG, PG, P.B.B.Sc Nursing Students participated in various competitions such as Drawing/Collage, Online Quiz, Singing, Poem based on different topics. On 12th May 2020, the SNA & Natural club of KGNC joined to celebrate Nurses Day in the College garden by planting trees named as “Florence Nightingale” and done a Rangoli in corridor at 11am. Dr. Renuka K, Principal, KGNC enthusiastically participated in online Debate with interested arguments and discussions with 6 experts based on “Nursing Transformation Evolved in India: 20th Century or 21st Century” organized by TNNMC at 6-7 pm through Online Zoom App and at last, On the commemoration of International Nurses Day ,all Faculty members of KGNC, lighted the lamps and candles in their home with family members at 7pm to make the visibility and unity of the celebration.
