 In commemoration of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Department of Mental Health Nursing, Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College and Bharath Matha De-Addiction Center & other Nursing Colleges in Puducherry jointly organized the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26.06.2018 focusing on Physical, Psychological, Financial, Family And Social disturbances due to Alcoholism by means of Rally. This programme was inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister of Puducherry Thiru.Narayanasamy. V and Thiru.R.Shiva M.L.A Orleampeth, Puducherry. The Rally started at 9.oo am from Kamban Kalaiyarangam. The Psychiatric Nursing students portrayed the physical symptoms, by representing it In Apron, Hair Bands, Umbrella, Placards, Models, etc. The Rally commenced from Kamban Kalaiyarangam via Raja theatre and Balaji Theatre finally the Rally came to an end in Thiruvalluvar Bus Stand. The feedback has been obtained from the General Public. Really it was an informative event for the Public.
